Cultivation of different crops under cover and open field and also providing technical consultancy to the same to the growers through our institute's consultancy cell.

Experience in 8 ha project mainly growing Roses, Carnation, Gerbera, Bell pepper, Orchid, Anthurium, Limmonium under cover and exotic vegetables like Broccoli, Summer Squash, Chinese cabbage, Lettuce, Parsley, etc. in open field. Have experience in propagation of different crops like carnation and roses. In addition, have experience in growing open field flower crops like Tuberose, Marigold, Gladiolus, Golden rod, Chrysanthemum, Heliconias, Bird of Paradise and filler crops like Asparagus, Zanadu Cycus, Alpinia, etc. Present job involves taking decisions and executing them regarding all day-to-day activities regarding production of above-mentioned crops along with other works like irrigation, harvesting, labour management, cultural practices, post harvest and exports.
