HTC recently participated in the Monsoon Rose Show organized by the Rose Society of Pune. The show was held at Tilak Smarak, Pune on 30th and 31st August 2008. the HTC stall had an elegant display of different varieties of Dry Flowers.
The prize distribution ceremony was carried out on the evening of 31st August. The Chief Guest for the programme was the Director of NIPHT,HTC: Dr. Sangeeta Ladha. HTC received two trophies for the best display of cut roses as well as for best display of stall.

" HORTICULTURE TRAINING CENTER" received the prestigious Vasantrao Naik Krishi Award on the 1st July 2008 for the enormous contribution to the field of Agriculture and Horticulture.
The award was given away by Hon. Home Minister of the State, R.R.Patil.
The award was received by Hon.Minister of Marketing of State
Mr. Harshavardhan Patil,
Managing Director of Maharashtra State Agriculture Marketing Board( MSAMB)
and the Director of NIPHT & HTC, Dr. Sangeeta Ladha."
