Practical trainings on Greenhouse management: Media preparation, sterilization, bed preparation, selection of planting material, varieties, planting in soils and soilless media, and cultural practices of rose, gerbera, carnation, anthurium, and orchids. Also grown open field flowers like tuberose, and gladiolus. Planting and marketing of exotic vegetables like broccoli, zucchini etc. Nursery Management: Propagation of roses using different rootstock and different media. Propagation of ornamental plants and their maintenance, hardening of tissue culture plants and vanilla and capsicum growing.

Experience in maintaining 8 ha project of 30 varieties of roses of different breeders on production basis, also looked after media preparation, sterilization, bed preparation, selection of planting material, varieties, planting in soils, production, irrigation, fertigation, crop protection, cultural practices, post harvest, marketing and dispatch. Exports of rose cut flowers to Holland, Japan, Middle East Asia as per their specifications and requirements. Grew gerbera and capsicum in soilless media (cocopeat). Propagated different rose varieties from different breeders like Rosen Tantau, Terra Nigra, De Reuiter on different rootstocks in soil and soilless media. Grew different types of rootstock of roses (imported and Indian rootstock) in open filed.
